Review Homeowner lead marketplace (formerly HomeAdvisor and Angie's List)

Angi Leads review: the largest homeowner network, with per-lead prices that are not published anywhere

Angi Pro puts you in front of what Angi calls the largest homeowner network, with over 1.5 million opportunities last month by their sign-up page. What it will not tell you before you sign up is the price per lead: Angi publishes no price list, and its investor filings describe pros paying per consumer match plus subscription fees. For a commercial service company the bigger issue is the audience. Angi is homeowners. Property managers and facility directors do not post their contracts there.

What it is

What Angi Leads actually sells.

Angi (which absorbed HomeAdvisor and Angie's List, and later CraftJack) is a consumer marketplace where homeowners request services and pros pay to be matched. The pro sign-up page reads: grow your business on the largest homeowner network; over 1.5M opportunities on Angi last month; sign up is free. Angi's Q2 2026 results state that revenue per lead increased 1% year over year, reflecting a favorable shift in pro mix toward the company's subscription, and its 10-K says service professionals generally pay for advertisements in advance on a monthly or annual basis, with lead revenue comprising fees paid by pros for consumer matches. Per-lead prices depend on trade, project size and location and are not published. Third-party contractor reports put them between roughly $15 and $85-plus per lead, with leads shared among several pros; we could not verify those figures and do not rely on them.

Where it is strong

What Angi Leads does well.

  • Scale nobody else in residential has: over 1.5 million monthly opportunities by their own count.
  • Free to sign up and a familiar brand that homeowners trust.
  • Broad category coverage, including cleaning, painting and lawn care.
  • Public company with published financials, so the business model is documented.
  • Useful for a residential contractor who needs volume quickly and can answer fast.

Where it falls short

What to know before you pay.

  • Per-lead prices are not published; you learn the cost after you sign up.
  • Homeowner network. Commercial buyers do not request cleaning contracts or roof programs on Angi.
  • Matches are shared with several pros in practice, so the real cost is per booked job, not per lead.
  • Revenue per lead is a metric Angi reports to investors, which means it rises over time by design.
  • You do all the calling, quoting and following up.

What customers say

Angi Leads reviews on third-party platforms.

The pro-facing Angi Leads profile on Trustpilot is one of the lowest-rated in the category: 1.9 across more than 37,000 reviews. The recurring themes are subscription fees for leads that do not turn into work, leads shared with many contractors, and refund disputes. The Better Business Bureau still rates Angi A+ because complaints are answered, but it closed 1,810 of them in three years and Angi is not accredited.

Scores and counts read from each platform on September 17, 2026. Themes are paraphrased from the platform's own review summaries and the most recent reviews; we quote nothing at length.

Praised for

  • Scale: the volume of homeowner requests is real, and some pros report steady work in categories where Angi dominates.
  • Negative reviews get a company reply within about 48 hours (Trustpilot profile data).

Complained about

  • Subscription contracts billed while leads are unusable or fake (Trustpilot review summary).
  • Leads reached by many contractors at once; one pro counted 3 real people in 39 leads (Trustpilot, September 2026).
  • Refunds promised and not sent, and continued billing after cancellation (Trustpilot, February 2026).

FAQ

Angi Leads questions, answered straight.

How much do Angi leads cost?
Angi does not publish per-lead prices. Its sign-up page says sign-up is free, and its investor filings describe pros paying fees per consumer match plus subscription fees, paid in advance monthly or annually. Contractor reports online cite roughly $15 to $85-plus per lead depending on trade and market; we have not verified those figures.
Are Angi leads shared with other contractors?
Angi makes no public exclusivity commitment for standard leads, and contractors widely report that matches go to several pros. Treat the real cost as cost per booked job, not cost per lead.
Does Angi work for commercial cleaning or commercial roofing?
Angi is a homeowner network by its own description. Commercial buyers such as property managers and facility directors do not source vendors there. For commercial contracts you need outbound to the people who own the vendor list.
What is the commercial alternative to Angi Leads?
Smarter Outbound: outbound email, SMS and calling to commercial decision-makers, every reply handled by our team, billed per qualified lead with no retainer or as a flat $1,497 a month Full System.
