Review Shared and exclusive homeowner lead marketplace

Networx review: homeowner leads from $10 to $100-plus, each shared with up to four contractors

Networx sells homeowner work requests two ways: Pay Per Lead at $10 to $100-plus, where a single lead goes to up to four contractors, and Exclusive Leads at $15 to $120-plus. It is a residential marketplace, priced honestly on its help pages. The cost that matters is not the lead price but the race: four contractors calling the same homeowner within minutes. Commercial contracts are not won that way, and that is where an outbound engine built for property managers is a different product.

What it is

What Networx actually sells.

Networx is a contractor lead marketplace for home improvement. Homeowners submit work requests; contractors receive them in real time by text and email and pay per lead. Their help center publishes two plans: Pay Per Lead, their most used plan, where leads range from $10 to $100-plus and a single lead goes to up to four contractors in total; and Exclusive Leads at $15 to $120-plus. All requests go through the same screening process by their description. Deposits, membership fees and cancellation terms are not covered in the help articles we read; contractors report a refundable credit deposit and no monthly fee, which we have not verified.

Where it is strong

What Networx does well.

  • Low entry price and pay-as-you-go, with prices published on their help center.
  • Real-time delivery by text and email, so a fast responder can win.
  • An exclusive option exists for contractors who will pay for it.
  • Screening process applied to every request, by their description.
  • No long commitment, per contractor reports.

Where it falls short

What to know before you pay.

  • Shared leads go to up to four contractors; you are one of four phone calls the homeowner gets.
  • Residential only: the requests are homeowners, not property managers or facility teams.
  • Cost per booked job is several times the cost per lead once shared leads and no-answers are counted.
  • Everything after delivery is on you: speed to call, quote, follow-up.
  • Deposit, fee and refund terms are not on the pricing help pages; you learn them at signup.

What customers say

Networx reviews on third-party platforms.

Read the Networx numbers carefully. The 4.8 Trustpilot score across 12,900 reviews is homeowners rating the contractors Networx sent them, not contractors rating Networx. The contractor-side signal is the Better Business Bureau, where 102 complaints were closed in three years, and Google, where the company office scores 3.5.

Scores and counts read from each platform on September 17, 2026. Themes are paraphrased from the platform's own review summaries and the most recent reviews; we quote nothing at length.

PlatformScoreReviewsNote
Trustpilot 4.8 / 5 12,912 reviews Paid subscription; reviews are mostly homeowners rating contractors, not pros rating Networx
Better Business Bureau A+ 99 customer reviews Accredited since 2022; 102 complaints closed in the last 3 years
Google Business 3.5 / 5 93 reviews Atlanta office listing

Praised for

  • Homeowners report fast contractor responses and fair pricing (Trustpilot summary).
  • BBB accredited with an A+ despite the complaint volume, which means complaints get answered.

Complained about

  • Contractors complain about overpriced leads, unverified leads billed anyway, and difficulty cancelling (BBB reviews and complaints).
  • Shared leads, up to four contractors each, drive the race that most negative reviews describe.

The honest verdict

Where Smarter Outbound beats Networx, and where it does not.

Never one of four

Our leads come from outreach we run for you alone. Nobody else is calling the same property manager because of us.

Commercial buyers, by design

Property managers, REIT asset managers, facility directors and business owners in your territory, not homeowners filling in a form.

Qualified, then delivered

Every reply is read and qualified by a human before it reaches your dashboard, with the thread attached.

Pay per qualified lead with a written definition

Decision-maker, matching property, real interest. If it does not meet the definition, it is not billed.

Contracts, not one-off jobs

Outbound targets recurring accounts and portfolio work, the opposite of a single homeowner request.

Flat price when you scale

The Full System is $1,497 a month, every channel, unlimited leads, no per-lead meter.

Where Networx is the better choice

  • You do residential work, can answer within minutes, and want the cheapest possible entry into paid leads.
  • You want to test a new residential market with a few hundred dollars and no commitment.

FAQ

Networx questions, answered straight.

How much does Networx charge for leads?
Their help center, read on September 17, 2026, states Pay Per Lead plan leads range between $10 and $100-plus and Exclusive Leads plan leads between $15 and $120-plus, depending on the project.
How many contractors get the same Networx lead?
On the Pay Per Lead plan, a single lead goes to up to four contractors in total, delivered in real time by text and email, per their help article. The Exclusive Leads plan sends it to one.
Is Networx legit?
It is an established marketplace with published price ranges and a screening process. The complaints you will find online are mostly about shared leads and unreachable homeowners, which is the nature of the model rather than a scam.
What is a better option for commercial service companies?
A marketplace only sells requests that homeowners submit. To win commercial contracts you have to reach the property manager before the renewal, which is outbound. Smarter Outbound runs that for you and bills per qualified lead or a flat $1,497 a month.
